Gajraj condemned for protecting lives
Dear Editor, I really don't see what all the noise is about with the former Minister of Home Affairs, Ronald Gajraj, being given a post in an Asian country.
Minister of Home Affairs (former), Ronald Gajraj Many of us are burying our head in the sand and are claiming that it is a wrong decision to have a controversial figure being the Ambassador to India . Personally, I see a man who has been condemned for protecting the lives of Guyanese during a time when terror reigned and many innocent lives were lost. Many persons have attacked Gajraj for his affiliation with Axel Williams, but we have to recognise that Gajraj admitted the police were not equipped with the necessary information to catch the criminal elements. So for all those persons who seem to have a problem with Gajraj's post, let them think about what was happening during the 2002-2003 crime spree. Sabrina Saywack Tuesday 07-12-2005
